Areas of Expertise

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am uniquely trained to view problems through a relational lens. Plainly said, we will spend some time discussing your family of origin, current relationships, and any other groups of you associate with. While I work with individuals all the time, I also enjoy inviting more members of a family or group to attend therapy together when appropriate.

I treat a variety of issues including:

  • Anxiety

  • Couple communication, conflict, and intimacy

  • Stress and overwhelm

  • ADHD

  • Trauma

  • Depression

  • Self-esteem and body image

  • Impact of ADHD and other diagnoses in relationships and families

  • Life transitions (such as new jobs, having children, moving)

  • Grief

  • Premarital counseling and marital enrichment

My Approach

I enjoy helping clients identify and examine parts of themselves contributing to patterns and unhelpful coping strategies. What comes is clarity and confidence to get to know your authentic self and strengthen your relationships. I aim to walk alongside my clients on their healing journey with compassion and empathy.

I enjoy using an integrated approach and lean on several models including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Polyvagal Theory, Narrative Therapy, and Enneagram.

I strive to create a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental space where my clients can openly share whatever is on their hearts and minds. Together, we'll explore your unique circumstances and work toward solutions that promote awareness, understanding, and healing.
